Lenten Racial Reconciliation Bible Study
Starting Thursday, February 22nd Student Pastor, Shayla Jordan, will be leading a racial reconciliation lent study on Welcoming Justice: God’s Movement Toward Beloved Community by Charles Marsh. Each Thursday at 7pm here at the church the group will be diving deep into the structures that enforce racism in our society and how God calls us to live the path of reconciliation. To sign up, contact Shayla (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let her know whether you will purchase the book yourself or if we need to order ($17 each). Book Link: https://smile.amazon.com/
Last Sunday we started our new series about being “stonecatchers” in a world that is so quick to throw stones at one another. Join in worship this Sunday as we focus on Luke 12:13-21 and the stones of greed and grumbling we throw at one another. The bells will be playing and new members are joining!
