As United Methodists we adhere to the following core ideals:

We believe in the full humanity and full divinity of Christ and in his virgin birth.

We believe Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.

We believe in the continuing movement of the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible (the library of our faith) contains all things necessary for salvation.

We see today's United Methodist Church as a thriving place which continues to make disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. 

For our part, we work to be faithful to our baptismal covenant:

We reject the spiritual forces of wickedness, reject the evil powers of this world, and repent of our sin.

We accept the freedom and power God gives us to resist evil, injustice, and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves.

We confess Jesus Christ as our Savior, put our whole trust in his grace, and promise to serve him as Lord,

in union with the Church which Christ has opened to people of all ages, nations and races.

We commit to faithful participate in the ministry of our congregation with our prayers,

our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness.
